Software Developer
5 people needed! The main role of this position is to work on integration projects in which 4 systems are combined. The ideal candidate must have good analytical and problem-solving skills to successfully design and test applications. An attention to detail and the ability to conceptualize business and user requirements into user-friendly and efficient software applications is required.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle
- Participate in project technical discussions
- Project estimation
- Document code releases
- Work closely with development team to define and execute project tasks
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized with day to day activities
- Communicate ideas and proposed changes effectively to team members
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of software development
- .NET through 4.0
- C#
- MS SQL 2008
- JavaScript
- XML
- WCF, RESTful Web Services
- Service Oriented Architecture
- Silverlight or WPF
- Tiered Enterprise Systems
- SCRUM/Agile based development cycle
- OOP design Patterns

Education:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
Not all people need to have Silverlight / WPF, but a definite plus for the ones with it. These are contract-to-hire opportunities with one of our clients in Fort Mill, SC. The intention is definitely to hire everyone if they work out, but client won't be able to convert everyone at the same time. Expect the conversion to be somewhere in the 6 - 24 months range, and need to be OK with an indefinite contract.
Target contract range is $40 - 50/hr. W2, but there is flexibility on this to find the right person. No 3rd party arrangements or sponsorship available for these positions. A local candidate is strongly preferred but client is willing to consider people who are able to relocate to the Fort Mill area on their own.
