We are seeking a Kronos Project Lead for one of our prestigious health care clients in Baltimore. As a member of this dynamic financial services team, you’ll be able to utilize your Workforce Central expertise and management skills to create, implement and maintain system wide applications. You’ll also have the opportunity to define your own strategy on projects within the finance and IT user groups.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts on major support and technical development activities related to the Kronos Workforce Central platform (Timekeeper/Scheduler/Attendance/Reporting/Mobile/Staffing)

  • Oversight and analysis associated with; advanced technical management of system, day to day management of frontend application support team and project lead efforts for expanded use of the Kronos Workforce Central platform

  • Responsible for conducting analysis, preparation and presentation of information

  • Documenting business requirements, documenting functional specifications, identifying test strategies, coordinating user acceptance testing and conducting end user training in support of various projects

  • Apply project planning techniques to ensure effective use of technology to meet customers’ needs

  • Strong functional expertise working with stakeholders to understand and document requirements and deliver identified solutions

  • Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle in relation to applicable software

  • Solid understanding of Employment Life Cycle and Payroll Life Cycle associated with support and development efforts of a core time management and/or payroll system


Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Must possess advanced skills and experience in oral and written communication

  • Must possess skills to effectively interface with department heads and demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and interact with leadership at all levels throughout business in support of enterprise wide Workforce Management System

  • Ability to establish and meet work schedules within limited time frames and under tight deadlines using project management techniques


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems / Technology or related field required; a Masters of Information Systems / Technology is preferred

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a related position

  • Strong experience with Kronos Workforce Central suite of products is strongly required (Timekeeper/Scheduler/Attendance/Reporting/Mobile/Staffing)

  • Experience overseeing teams of varying sizes towards project goals and operational activities

  • Advanced project management skills and healthcare experience preferred but not required
