DSL is supporting large Government Contracting searching for immediate opening for a Wireless Security Engineer-Team Lead at our Customer site in Springfield, VA

Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI (willing to obtain CI Polygraph)
Location: Springfield, VA
Salary: $120K

Job Description:
Technical Security Team Lead of a small multidiscipline team tasked with ensuring Customer's technical security requirements are met. Provide technical wireless security engineering expertise for our Customer's Wireless Security Program and conduct and refine wireless security assessments and operations to secure our Customer's facilities.

Education: Bachelor's degree desired with 11 years wireless engineering security experience. Fourteen years of wireless engineering security experience, and relevant training will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Required Skills:
Utilize wireless security engineering expertise concepts, principles and practices to analyze and resolve difficult and complex wireless security issues.
Provide support in design, integration and management in building wireless security networks within Intelligence Community facilities.
Plan and execute wireless security operations as approved by the Government, conduct assessments and surveys using Linux-based, commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS), government-off-the-shelf (GOTS), and/or custom developed survey tools to detect and/or prevent unauthorized or misconfigured wireless devices within secure areas.
Work closely with counterintelligence personnel to refer actively exploited, or potentially exploitable vulnerabilities.
Provide hardware and software engineering support, and technical assistance related to communications infrastructure, processing systems, and interfaces in support of exfiltration/infiltration of wireless and mobility devices and networks.
Lead the design and integration of customer developed wireless security tools, providing guidance on issues such as physical layout, design, RF coverage, optimization, and configuration parameters. Create custom signatures and detection procedures based on new threats and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Assist in the development of documentation/policy/procedures and draft reports to document vulnerabilities based on risk management models.
All applicants must have an active TS/SCI clearance and agree to undergo a Counterintelligence Polygraph examination to be considered for this position.
Proven ability to work autonomously and to develop and deliver concise executive-level reports and presentations.
Prepared and able to support (20%) travel requirements, CONUS and OCONUS as well as significant local travel with in the metropolitan Washington DC area.

Self-starter, with ability to establish priorities and resolve immediate technical security issues. Comfortable in dealing directly with senior management personnel
