Description: PCM is searching for .Net Developers for an initial 6 month contract with our client in the downtown Kansas City area.

• Design, implement and support internally developed systems. This position is responsible for developing new software components, including client applications, server components, and database structures to meet project requirements.
• Repairing and modifying production systems to maintain their operational functionality.
• Providing unit testing on developed product to ensure quality and consistency with the desired requirements.
• Working with end users to determine needs and enhancements/changes to the software systems.
• Providing technical leadership.

• 5+ years of web application or software development experience in Microsoft .NET 4.0 with C#, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Web Services, Windows Service, Desktop Applications, LINQ, XML / XSLT and MS SQL
• Strong knowledge of various frameworks, principles and designs implemented in c#.
• Expertise in working with WCF, WPF, WF frameworks and Silverlight
• Expertise with clear understanding on Windows Architecture & Operating system / Win32 APIs 4.x with Web API 2.0
• Knowledge of Repository based Data Access pattern would be a plus
• Knowledge of Inversion of Control using Autofac would be plus
• Knowledge of Entity Framework 5.0 or later for data access
• Experience in Medium to large Silverlight 5 XAML UI development with proficiency in MVVM concepts
• At least one MVVM framework used in the project (Caliburn Micro preferred)
• Excellent debugging skills with knowhow on how to debug async calls
• Experience in Web application development with ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX
• Knowledge of responsive web design using bootstrap, AngularJS or other frameworks
• Good knowledge on IT Infrastructure solutions development
• Experience in N-tiered application design & development
• Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud (Azure) environment
