Description: PCM is currently searching for a data-centric .Net Developer for a full time, direct hire position with our client in the Overland Park, KS area. This position is a key contributor within the organization and has the opportunity to directly enable their business vision. You will be an important contributor in the realization of ambitious business objectives to build out a robust cloud-based services platform.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
• Designs, develops, and tests new application software or extensive software revisions with an emphasis on web services and data-centric applications
• Defines product requirements and creates high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms
• Documents software for the purpose of maintainability, making revisions to processes and procedures as needed
• Troubleshoots, debugs, and performs data and system analysis as required
• Analyzes and maintains corporate data integrity, reliability, and security
• Collaborates as part of a team consisting of technical and non-technical resources
• Supports the corporate Information Technology vision, mission, goals and strategy by successfully and efficiently performing short-term goals, while striving to meet long- term imperatives
• Maintains awareness of new technologies and their role and/or potential within the corporate Information Technology infrastructure
• Builds and maintains relationships with clients and third-party vendors

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or relevant combination of experience and education
• 3+ years .Net programming experience
• Demonstrated ability to work in an iterative (agile), fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and modern development design and coding practices across the full software development life cycle
• Highly proficient at troubleshooting (debugging) software and hardware issues
• Excellent SQL skills to include T-SQL-specific DDL and DML
• Strong understanding/experience with ORM frameworks, including experience in one of the following: Dapper, N-hibernate or Entity Framework
• Strong understanding of Relational Data modeling including the following patterns/concepts:
o Synthetic primary keys
o Normalization
o Self-referencing tables
o 1:1 extensions and Primary-Foreign Key pattern
o Effective Dating pattern
o Ability to design, build and troubleshoot Data Access patterns
• Experience with the following technologies:
o Visual Studio .NET 2015+, .NET Framework 5.0+ (C# required)
o Web Application Development (ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript) Highly Desirable
o Web Services (Web API, WCF)
o Experience in building and integrating RESTful web services
o Experience developing in a cloud-based environment such as Microsoft Azure
o Knowledge of Scrum or other Agile methodologies, experience is preferred
o Experience with GIT, TFS, or other version control solutions
o Ability to create and modify unit tests relevant to solution being developed
o Experience with Code Generation of ORM Mapping Files and Schema Reverse Engineering
o Experience with Analytic and BI tools.
o Strong understanding of Data Access, Data Partition, Federated Models
o Ability to identify data access anti-patterns and Infer or predict generated SQL from C#/ORM patterns
