Description: PCM is currently searching for a Senior SharePoint Developer for a direct hire role in the Lee’s Summit, MO area. This is a direct hire position that includes an excellent benefits package as well as a pension.
The Senior SharePoint Developer role is to provide thought leadership and innovative development of leading-edge SharePoint solutions around the core concepts of business process automation/management, collaboration, business intelligence, and enterprise content management. This role will work with all stakeholders (including business leaders and end users) to analyze business needs, design and develop appropriate SharePoint custom solutions and ensure that the solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging technologies and technical strategy, and advises department management where improvements are deemed necessary.
Participates in the on-going development of the SharePoint 3-year Technology Roadmap.
Ensures that delivered solutions meets all client standards, including compliance with published standard architecture(s) and completion of required system documentation.
Leads the planning of custom solution architectures in accordance with the Architectural Review Board requirements and guidelines.
Participates in the requirements gathering process and assists in creating the appropriate artifacts.
Designs and develops solutions that customize and extend SharePoint in a manner that fulfills business opportunities, as prioritized by the executive sponsors and leadership. This includes integration with other enterprise systems and third-party products.
Leads the system development lifecycle for SharePoint custom solutions, including analysis, design, configuring, programming, and testing.
Leads and coordinates SharePoint infrastructure projects.
Collaborates with the SharePoint server engineers to ensure service packs, patches and other releases are tested and deployed for the SharePoint environments in accordance with corporate change management policies and procedures.
Manages the proactive examination of existing business processes and identifies gaps in processes, opportunities for improvements and automation, including workflow and content management.
Leads the integration of non-SharePoint related services into SharePoint applications as needed.
Manages the SharePoint disaster recovery solution including participation as the SharePoint point-of-contact during the regularly scheduled disaster recovery exercises.
Develops and promotes best practices for usage, operations and development.
Provides operational support and routine maintenance of the system by performing usage monitoring and analysis, scheduled tasks, and keeping the system current with security releases and system upgrades.
Continually strives to improve the efficiency and usability of our SharePoint solutions, leveraging ongoing research and understanding business needs.
Education Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related field.  Additional years of qualifying work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience Requirements
Five years of specific experience in applying skills such as SharePoint architecture, object model, shared services, business process/workflow automation and SharePoint forms development. 
Proven experience in SharePoint custom solution design and development and analyzing and documenting business processes. 
Experience in business process automation using industry-standard workflow automation and forms technology. 
Expertise in SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016 Server and/or SharePoint online implementations. 
Working knowledge in ASP.NET, C# and PowerShell for custom development, SQL Server databases, Web development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
Requires ability to be highly self-motivated and self-directed.
