Description: PCM is currently looking for a Mulesoft Technical Architect for our client in the Overland Park, KS area.

In this role, you will step into a large and diverse team of enterprise developers based in our Kansas City office; we want you to bring your knowledge and expertise to help us craft our integration and API layer services into an industry leading practice.

Initially, you will step into a high impact, enterprise development team. You will be a part of a larger Enterprise Architecture Team, which actively evaluates and creates architecture standards for the Data Management team. Building and leading an enterprise practice will require you to direct, guide, and mentor other technology services associates while having you oversee and monitor ongoing standards of execution. You will be instrumental in the direct implementation of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform for clients and the MuleSoft API Manager to help craft custom connectors and APIs for client’s common applications, platforms, and data sources. This also includes evaluating current state ETL/ESB services and processes looking for additional opportunity to leverage MuleSoft and integrate the platform with a variety of existing off-the-shelf and custom solutions.

You will help to directly promote the services you architect accelerating our momentum and business growth in this area. Additionally, you will play an important role in the effort to advance as a MuleSoft technology partner. The goal is to be seen by MuleSoft as the first-choice implementation and management partner.

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with MuleSoft; minimum 10 years’ experience developing Java (or similar) based applications
• Lead architecture, definition, and implementation of MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform initiatives
• Apply integration design patterns, message routing, content enrichment, batch processing, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms
• Demonstrable proficiency in designing MuleSoft connectors and components (MuleSoft ESB v3.0 and above including designing ESB templates, Anypoint Studio with high proficiency in mapping data, message modelling, exception handling, and API Management)
• Translate business objectives and requirements into technical solutions leveraging the MuleSoft platform
• Mentor/Lead junior development staff in the areas of ESB/integration practices and in support of the MuleSoft platform
• Work with Technology Services and Strategic Services to understand current and future execution capabilities, and identify process improvement opportunities
• Evaluate and recommend MuleSoft partners to supplement or provide key services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – presentation to VP and higher internal stakeholders is required
• Prepare and implement agency-wide technology standards related to MuleSoft development and implementation
• Travel to meet with clients as necessary
• Attend industry conferences and share learnings with other associates
• Develop and maintain of a training plan for the MuleSoft platform, including appropriate levels of certification
• MuleSoft Certified Developer specialization is a plus
• Bachelor of Computer Science (or equivalent degree)
• Proficiency in a variety of technology systems
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a plus
• Consulting and agency experience is a plus
• Experience building a development team is a plus
• Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience is a plus
