Position Title: Test Engineer II
Salary Range: $50-60/hr.

Description: PCM is currently searching for a QA Engineer for a contract for hire position with our client in the Mission, KS area. They will be responsible for performing agile testing of mobile apps and complex CRM products as well as test automation. The role will be working with developers, tech support, and product owners and is responsible for ensuring thorough testing of all products before they go to production, which includes exploratory testing and automation regression.

Major Responsibilities
Creating test automation scripts, execute and maintain test plans using current testing tools
Manual exploratory testing and Defect reporting and follow-up
Quality Grooming of the Ready-Backlog
Coordinating testing resources including estimating testing schedules and reporting on defects and testing progress

Preferred Skills
Must be able to work well with others in a dynamic and interactive team setting
Practical working knowledge of Agile software testing methodology
Ability to execute manual and automated test plans and effectively communicate issues to the team
Must have the technical abilities to thoroughly document defects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated team resource for writing SQL queries and teaching others about SQL
Experience with server side programming languages (Java, C#, etc.)
Experience with client-side technologies (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, etc.)

Preferred Experience
Degree in Computer Science preferred. Suitable work experience can be substituted
3+ years’ experience in software testing and quality assurance
2+ years’ experience using automated testing tools such as UFT or Selenium
API testing experience using SoapUI or equivalent tool
1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Microsoft Test Management suite
