Description: PCM is currently searching for a Consulting Lead for a direct hire position with our client in the Overland Park, KS area. This position is for a healthcare software development company and focuses on working with their external clients on implementation and support projects as well as helping set internal direction within the consulting group. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced changing environment to assist with the day-to-day operational needs and long-term strategic goals of the consulting group. In addition, this role will require the applicant to perform as a lead consultant for key client facing projects.

Job Functions & Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Assist with various activities related to the day-to-day and strategic operations of the Consulting team including:
• Revenue Tracking and Reporting
• Project Oversight
• Mentoring
• Establishing scope and generating estimates for consulting engagements
• Creating, adjusting and documenting consulting processes and work templates with a focus on increasing efficiency and enforcing standards
• Perform the following Consulting activities as needed:
• Work directly with clients using the Provider Management suite of products to:
• Perform system setup and configuration
• Advise on best practice usage of products
• Translate complex end-user workflow requirements into practical business processes
• Identify business challenges and recommend workable solutions (e.g. process changes, reporting, product and/or service needs)
• Provide client deliverables which may include documenting and diagraming business processes, creating end-user desktop manuals and generating consulting recommendation reports
• Collaborate with Business Analyst(s) during data migration and system integration projects to ensure deliverables align with recommended workflow and system usage
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to work on complex issues
• Travel will be required for some engagements

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
• Familiarity with provider management software
• Strong Healthcare Credentialing knowledge
• Familiarity with JCAHO and NCQA standards
• Experience working in a supervisory, manager or lead consulting role
• Consulting background and/or direct experience working in a lead role performing Credentialing services at a Hospital, Payor or Managed Care organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to problem-solve
• Microsoft Office suite (including Visio)

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience creating SQL queries and/or reporting background (e.g. Crystal)
• Experience working with Provider Management products
