TITLE: PRODUCT ANALYST

* Be up-to-date on market trends and regulatory changes and report on competitive market information related to fees and retail banking overdraft services.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Product Analyst is responsible for assisting in the on-going fee management and fee/service development within the retail and small business checking line of business. This position is also responsible for participating in and supporting all efforts around internal partner management, financial reporting, and analytical functions in support of these fees and services. In addition, the Product Analyst may assist all product managers in research and execution of tactical product plans and campaign activities for the bank’s entire suite of deposit offerings.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Serve as back-up and subject matter expert for consumer deposit related fees as well as overdraft products and services.
o Execute fee and overdraft strategy and tactical plans for Retail and Small Business Checking products and services at direction of Fee Manager
o Work in conjunction with key business partners to execute any related deposit fee and overdraft strategies
o Participate in the design and development of product/promotional campaigns for Retail and Small Business Checking products and services as they relate to fees and overdrafts
o Help manage internal relationships related to fees, overdrafts and retail banking services
o Participate in system initiatives related to fees and overdrafts
o Assist in the development of training and communication of programs for front-line personnel, including the coordination of training with the IFL (Institute for Learning), content for various forms of communication; such as website, intranet site, brochures and implementation of internal/external communication programs.

3. Respond to internal inquiries related to fee and overdraft information
o Develop and enhance network of internal resources
o Serve as subject matter expert and respond to internal inquiries regarding fee functionality and features.
o Serve as key content owner for internal web portal related to fee information and disclosures

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 1 – 3 years of experience of personal or small business banking experience or equivalent
• Working knowledge of product management and/or product development skills
• Working knowledge of industry
• Moderate project management skills
• Proficient analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel
• Ability to work in fast-paced and close team environment
• Customer/client service focus
• In-depth written and verbal communication skills
• Competent in Office suite of products (advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel preferred)
