Quality Assurance Lead

Contract Duration: 6 months

JOB DESCRIPTION

PROJECT DETAILS: Salesforce deployment for the wealth management group.

MANDATE
The Quality Assurance Lead is accountable to ensure the optimal performance of the functional testing process. The QA lead is the focal point for the project functional testing teams and oversees their planning and project execution and provides guidance and direction as appropriate. This team uses manual testing.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Manages all aspects of functional testing including: test strategy and test planning (including budget, timeline, resourcing [in collaboration with the Project Manager], scheduling, and distribution of work) in order to ensure an effective and efficient testing approach
• Reviews and interprets all documentation related to testing, including business requirements and functional and design specifications, in order to provide input to the project team regarding the planning of testing activities
• Identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during the testing process. Enter, review and update software defects in defect tracking database

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Minimum 7 - 10 years systems experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) professional with extensive business knowledge
• Experience working with CRM systems especially Salesforce or Oracle CRM.
• Experience with HP Quality Centre
• Experience with unit testing, functional testing, UAT, SIT, regression testing
• Possesses an expert understanding of SDLC and QA concepts, metrics analysis, methodologies and documentation standards
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of industry methodology standards (e.g., Capability Maturity Model Integration [CMMI] and International Organization for Standardization [ISO])
• Possesses expert analytical skills for complex problem solving
• Exhibits expert communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possesses a university degree/college diploma in Computer Science
