Description:

Hours: 8-5 Monday - Friday.
Business Unit: Mortgages

Summary:
Coordinating the drafting of legal documentation, reviewing loan documentation to ensure they reflect the terms of the credit approval, perfecting collateral position, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, facilitating deal closing process, structuring deal on loan system, and the ongoing tracking and monitoring of legal and compliance documentation.

Job responsibilities:
-Schedule loan closing and compile and type closing documents
-Review approved mortgage loan to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing, such as purchase of private mortgage insurance.
-Call borrower, real estate broker, and title company to request specified documents, such as receipt for payment of outstanding tax bill.
-Verify accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents, such as title abstract and insurance forms.
-Call borrower, broker, and other specified individuals to arrange time and date for closing.
-Answer questions regarding closing requirements.
-Enter numbers and calculates loan interest and principal payment, and closing costs, using computer or factor table and calculator.
-Type closing documents.
-Assemble documents for delivery to Title Company, real estate broker, or lending officer for closing.
-Record loan information in log and on government reporting forms, using computer.
-May compile closed loan forms for delivery to marketing department for sale to investors.

Education/Experience
-University degree/college diploma or equivalent work experience
-Experience on process and/or project management
-Experience working with mortgages.
-Financial Institution experience is preferred
-1-2 years of relevant experience
