***The manager is also willing to offer taxi chits to the candidate when onboarded to cover transportation home at night when public transportation is not available***

Job Title: Presentation Specialist

Top 3 Skills:
1. The candidate must have stand out PowerPoint experience. In the resume, the roles where they are doing PowerPoint work must stand out and show details about their work. Essentially, being a PowerPoint super user must be indicated as part of their job.
2. Candidate must have strong recent experience working within another Financial Institution doing similar work
a. Firms such as UBS, Morgan Stanley and Williams Lee are companies that stand out to the manager. If no F&I experience, coming from a legal background is also ok.
3. Candidates must be PowerPoint super-users. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are also necessary; however the manager is also looking for intermediate level experience with Adobe Photoshop and illustrator.

IMPORTANT: I WILL BE LOOKING TO SEE POWERPOINT SAMPLES AND IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE PROVIDE RESULTS OF ONLINE SKILLS ASSESMENTS.

Manager Notes:
• The bank has new brand standards that they are looking to see across all of their powerpoint presentations, this candidate will take the presentation and standardise it to BMO corporate standards (Re-colouring and Changing Fonts etc).
• The candidate must be able to follow directions and have excellent attention to detail to a lot of small details.
• There is no ramp up time and the candidate must hit the ground running.
• The candidate will take a PowerPoint presentation and then standardise the font, colour, size etc.
• ***Would be an asset to have a graphic design background – will be required to draw & edit illustrations and images with Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator – i.e. Decks – maps that highlight regions – drawing pipelines
• also must have an eye for spotting fonts (matching and altering)
• Need to have advanced experience in MS Word & Excel – creating/embedding charts, tables and graphs into powerpoint.
• The manager will be testing them on their attention to detail and being able to multi-task.
• The capital markets group is a busy environment with a lot of requests. The candidate must not get frazzled easily and be able to handle the fast paced environment. Candidates that have been successful in the past have been calm, assured and able to follow direction.

Contract length: 4 months with potential for short term extension

Interview Format:
• 1st round interview will be a telephone interview with the manager
• 2nd round will be a short in-person interview and skills assessment testing in – Word, Excel, Powerpoint – potentially some basic testing or work samples for Photoshop/illustrator

Mandate
To provide high quality, professional desktop publishing services to the bank. This candidate will be working with bankers and administrative staff in the completion of client communications and presentations.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Provide professional, accurate, timely and courteous desktop publishing services to BMO Capital Markets:
• Document production in Office 2010 and other programs as required, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and mapping software
• Create and reformat PowerPoint presentations and ensure that it meets the corporate standards
• Provide support and services to BMOCM branch offices
• Responsible for delivering client-ready material including printing and binding
• Any other projects assigned by the Senior Manager, Global Desktop Services, in response to the company’s needs
• Maintains and upgrades the skills needed to effectively perform job duties
• Flexible working hours and/or shift work is required in this position.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Computer skills: high-end skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for advanced document production; intermediate skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and mapping software. Technical skills with equipment.
