Position Title: Outside Sales Rep - Saskatoon

Description: Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Outside Sales Representative

• Analyze the territory potential to create and maintain sales plan
• Present, promote and sell products, training and services using solutions based selling techniques to existing and prospective customers (minimum 25/week)
• Maintain customer price lists for assigned accounts.
• Provide and follow up on quotes for assigned customers.
• Service all orders for existing and new customers, including determining customer needs, upselling every opportunity, advising of monthly promotions and guiding customers into supported product lines
• Review assigned customer open orders and back orders daily, following up with team members as required
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Own and expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
• Maintain notes for each customer based on each interaction
• Maintain customer contact information in Streamline
• Perform annual business reviews with top 20% of accounts annually
• Supply Sales Leader with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new customers, products and services
• Achieve agreed upon sales and gross margin targets
• Coordinate sales effort with customer service team, Sales Lead, other team members and departments
• Keep abreast of industry trends and continuously grow and share product and industry knowledge.
• Participate in local industry events and tradeshows, work collaboratively with Sales Lead and marketing to develop promotions
• Be available 24/7 for your customers and participate in the after hours customer support plan/schedule and open/close responsibilities with all branch team members
• Align with Sales Lead on personal development plan and execution
• Meet with Sales Manager monthly to discuss:
o Discuss sales and margin
o Review open quote report
o Top prospects/Focus
o Successes/Challenges
• Present the progress of your annual sales plan to President quarterly

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years outside sales experience in related field
• Proven self-starter with track record for growing sales and customer base
• Knowledge of the abatement, restoration, surface preparation, or general safety industries is definitely an asset
• Team player, proactive communicator
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Knowledge in Excel, Word and Power Point
