Description: Responsibilities :
As part of the Human Resources team, ensure that HR policies and procedures are complied with, handle requests pertaining to the collective agreement and perform recruitment activities.
Must be spoken bilingual

General Description :
The HR advisor must ensure legal compliance of all HR processes, namely :
?Staffing
oStaff recruitment (administration, production, internships)
?Job postings (internal, external)
?Attend career days and job fairs
?Primary contact with staffing agencies
?Selection interviews
?Coordination of psychometric tests and medical exams
?Referral checks
?Employment offers
oOrientation for new employees
?Integration plan
?New employee welcome package
oTermination of employment
?Exit interviews
?File closing (Workday, Nethris, recovery of company equipment, ticket system)

?Benefits administration
oCollective insurance (enrollment, modifications, claims, balancing...)
oRRSPs/DPSP
oDisability
?Handling and monitoring of disability cases

?Employee trainings
oManage trainings (as per matrix)
?Law of 1% of the payroll
?Planning of training activities (purchase orders)
?Documentation following the training
?Governmental programs (Workplace Apprenticeship Program, welding)
oDevelopment plan

?Remuneration
oSalary adjustments
oUpdates on all softwares

?Labour relations
oManagement of the collective agreement
oDisciplinary actions
oMonitoring of absenteeism
oStaff turnover

oOrganisation of the information tour

?Create a PowerPoint presentation to show in lunch rooms

oOrganisation of various events (Leucan, Christmas office party…)

?Employee recognition program
oCoordinate the program and distribute awards to employees

?Company policies
oTake part in the development, enforcement and evaluation of the HR policies;

In collaboration :
?In collaboration with the HR Manager, advise supervisors on the application of the collective agreement.

Other related tasks may be added to meet Company's operational needs.

Physical requirements :
?Mostly at a desk in a sitting position
?May be required to lift objects of less than 20 lbs
